Just like Seabury's academic program, the application process is focused on the whole child. Through a mindful process, our admissions staff get to know you and your child.
In addition to basic information, our application includes several open-ended questions about your child's development, interests, and aptitudes.
As part of the admission process, we invite you and your family to tour the campus with us during the school day. We also ask that potential students attend class for all or part of a school day. Class visits give our teachers an opportunity to get to know your child and your child gets to experience what it's like going to school at Seabury.
Beginning with students entering kindergarten, cognitive assessments administered by a licensed psychologist, give the admissions team another view into your child's strengths and interests. Rather than basing acceptance decisions simply on cognitive assessments, our admissions process gives our team the ability to consider the individual needs of your child.
