Music, drama and more
At a recent Friday gathering, one of our second-grade students astounded us all with a drum solo. As part of our winter performing arts showcase, our third graders created an original musical play inspired by the game Candyland. Our middle schoolers entertained a crowd with a rousing holiday drum circle, after a two-month class taught by a local professional musician. These are just a few examples of how we do performing arts at Seabury.
From the head of school
Seabury's program centers on the development of the whole child- intellectual, social, emotional and physical. We immerse our students in experiences that engage their minds, their creativity, their sense of wonder and their imagination. Performing arts at Seabury is a place where these converge in amazing ways.

Parent workshop starts in January
We all know raising gifted children is a blessing - but can also be exhausting! This intensive eight-week workshop focuses on supporting the emotional needs of your gifted child while providing tools for parenting.
Beginning Jan. 9 and running through March 6, the group is led by Callie Stoker-Graham, parent of two gifted children, and Dr. Kelly Brown, Seabury parent and licensed psychologist.
Your support is critical for so many things: continuing education of our teachers, artist-in-residence programs, new technology, and most importantly, financial aid for families who need it. Thank you in advance for your generosity and for making a Seabury education possible for all children who need an education tailored to their special way of learning. You can give online here.
