Mother nature may have been the greatest innovator of all time!  Using patterns, geometry, and spatial reasoning skills, use math to create art and learn more about the natural world.  Discover the Fibonacci sequence, the golden ratio, and hexagons in nature.  Create Celtic knot-work, tangram stories, Escher-like optical illusions, Alex Kohnahin like reflective insect symmetry, mazes and labyrinths built with compasses, modern art’s connection to fractions, decimals and percentages, patchwork polygon and Islamic geometry.
