ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM

Seabury’s kindergarten through sixth grade program is specially designed for highly capable learners. At Seabury, students have the opportunity to learn with their intellectual peers in an atmosphere that nurtures their natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge. An emphasis on the development of creativity, critical and analytical thinking, problem solving, and the exploration of relationships between concepts is central to learning at Seabury. Seabury's teachers use a broad array of teaching resources, provide students with opportunities for both individual and small group instruction, and incorporate hands-on, experiential learning throughout the curriculum.
Seabury's highly skilled teachers recognize that not all highly capable children are equally talented in all subject areas, so instruction is personalized to meet individual needs. Seabury students consistently excel on standardized achievement tests including WASL and ITBS.

At Seabury, students who think "outside the box" find themselves in a community with others who think and learn like they do. Learning in a stimulating environment with other highly capable children, and with the support of faculty who are trained to meet their academic, social and emotional needs, Seabury's students get the tools they need to develop their potential to become our future leaders, creators and innovators.
