The Art of Anime! Summer@Seabury

Love anime? Love film? Love thinking, learning and talking about them both? This is the workshop for you. You'll analyze films with a focus on the influential artistry and storytelling of anime. Each evening will feature viewing, group discussion and analytical writing. The focus will be on understanding key concepts in film such as cultural influence, morals, symbolism, character development, foreshadowing and film aesthetics. When possible, films will be shown in their native language with English subtitles.
