As the Worm Turns! Summer@Seabury
June 26, 2017 10:00 AM
Want to get your hands dirty? We will design, organize, prepare the soil, construct a bean teepee and a few raised beds – and plant an amazing edible garden. Learn about composting, worms and decomposition. (Google vermicomposting!) Beautify the garden area with art and garden sculptures. Discuss Native American gardening practices parallel to today's practices, species and techniques. If we do a great job, we might even be able to share in the garden's bounty by picking up a bundle of fresh veggies and herbs later in the summer.
This middle school workshop is for 6th-8th graders. Register for As the Worm Turns here.
