WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Featured Alumnus: BROC WOODWORTH
Seabury Class of 2001
Bellarmine Prep Class of 2005
Congratulations to Seabury alumnus, Broc Woodworth, a recent graduate of Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma! Broc chose to attend Bellarmine after graduating from Seabury because of its challenging academic program and because he wanted to stay in touch with his spiritual side. Broc enjoyed Bellarmine’s friendly community, great teachers and friends, school spirit and sports. Broc currently attends Gonzaga University in Spokane, and is majoring in Computer Engineering. He selected Gonzaga from the four schools he was accepted to because it has a rigorous academic program, he likes Spokane, and it is close to home, but not too close!
Broc was surprised at how well he adapted to living without his parents at college. And although he enjoys dorm life at Gonzaga, he is getting really tired of cafeteria food! You can find Broc at the Gonzaga basketball games or hanging out with friends when he is not studying.
Broc attended Seabury from kindergarten through eighth grade. Some of his fondest memories of Seabury are Mrs. Swift’s second grade class and going to France in seventh grade. Broc felt that Seabury prepared him well for Bellarmine and beyond. “I am really glad that Seabury nurtured my natural talents for math and gave me a chance to learn more. That started me sooner in high school and gave me a GREAT jump start in college.”
Some wisdom that Broc would like to pass onto upcoming students is that getting good grades is important, but he thinks that learning how to interact with people is even more important in life. Broc would love to hear from former friends and teachers at preppypoof@gmail.com!
