Financing your Seabury education

In tight economic times, families often wonder whether independent school education is a possibility for their children. Families who choose Seabury make a significant investment in their child's future by providing an educational experience that will give them a solid foundation for learning and success in later education and in life.

 

Families approach financing their children's Seabury education in a variety of ways, from making adjustments within the family's budget to sharing the cost of education with grandparents who want to contribute to the future of their grandchildren. Several banking institutions make student loans for private and independent school education, similar to college loan funding. And Seabury provides need based financial aid based on guidelines below.

TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID

Tuition and fees for the upcoming school year are set by Seabury's Board of Trustees in the spring.  Students who are 3 or 4 years old as of August 31 can apply to enroll in the Early Learning Center as half or full day students.  Kindergarten students generally need to be 5 years old by August 31.  Kindergarten at Seabury is a full-day program. 

Application Fee

Application forms must be accompanied by a $100 non-refundable application fee.

 

2008-2009 Tuition

Early Learning Center Half Day: $6300

Early Learning Center Full Day: $9800

Kindergarten through Grade 7: $12,600

 

Annual processing fee for tuition paid in installments: $50

Financial Aid

Seabury offers financial aid to qualifying students based on need and available funds.  If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please request a financial aid form with your registration materials.  Financial aid applications are processed and financial aid decisions are made only after a student has been offered admission to Seabury.
